You may be taking your health for granted.
Life can be busy, thanks to the large number of errands and responsibilities we all have. As a result, you might neglect your health until you come down with with a serious illness.
You shouldn’t let it reach that point. You should be doing everything in your power to maintain your health so you can function normally on a daily basis.
Your body is a well-oiled machine. It indicates if something isn’t working properly. Machines have indicators that alert you when there’s a problem. Your body also sends signals when it isn’t working properly. Learn to listen to them.
Here are six signs that your body’s unhealthy.
Pee Color
The color of your pee is a powerful indicator. It can tell you how hydrated you are, or if your vital organs aren’t functioning efficiently. Pale or transparent yellow urine indicates good health, while amber-colored urine indicates dehydration.
Make it a habit to check the color of your pee when you go to the toilet, and act accordingly.
How Often You Poop
In your natural, healthy state, your bowels should release waste with every meal, removing toxins and making room for more nutrition. Everyone is different, but general research shows you should be pooping once a day. When you don’t excrete regularly, your body is more inclined to let toxins seep into your bloodstream, where they can cause a lot of internal damage.
You should also be aware of how different foods affect your bowel movements. Watch out for your dietary choices, because they can affect your poop in several ways.
Chapped Lips
External factors usually cause chapped lips. Sun exposure, wind exposure, and dry air all affect the condition of your lips. Internally, the state of your lips may also indicate your level of hydration. If you find yourself with chapped lips, it’s best to monitor your daily water intake and make sure you’re getting all the water your body needs.
You’re ALWAYS Tired
Stress can be exhausting. If you haven’t been getting enough sleep, you should make sure to allow yourself the proper amount of rest. If you’re still tired after a good amount of sleep, however, you might have some health concerns.
Look at your diet. Processed foods and heavy alcohol consumption can tax your system more than you might think. Chronic fatigue can be a sign your thyroid isn’t working the way it should.
Skin Breakouts
About 70% of adults experience outbreaks of acne between the ages of 20 and 50. Breakouts are an indicator of a struggling immune system aggravated by external stress levels.
If you experience adult acne, it’s a sign from your body’s largest organ.
The Seasonal Bug
Common seasonal illnesses, such as cough, cold, or flu may say something about your immune system. If you find yourself susceptible to health problems, it’s best to build your defenses by taking vitamins and supplements.
Vitamin C is the most notable line of defense when it comes to fighting sickness, but you should always get a regular checkup to gain more insights into your health.
Keeping your body healthy should be part of your daily routine.
Your body is a complex machine connected by many organs. Looking after your health is the best way to maintain this machine so it can work at its full capacity.
If you’re feeling under the weather and want to prevent further health conditions from developing, focus on getting quality sleep, staying hydrated, and nourishing your body.
