About Ms. Lepoff
Rebecca Lepoff is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years experience in mental health, substance abuse and weight/food issues. She creates a welcoming, supportive, and safe atmosphere for clients to feel comfortable enough to work on their issues. She believes strongly in starting where the client is, and helping them to identify their issues. Rebecca uses a strength-based approach to therapy in order to help clients recognize their own inner strengths, even when they have a hard time seeing some of those positive aspects themselves. She likes to use humor, when/if appropriate, as a way to help clients feel more comfortable and at ease.
Rebecca’s passions include working with people with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief/loss, PTSD, addictions, food and weight issues such as stress and emotional eating, food addiction and body image, and life changes/transitions. Rebecca’s interests also involves spiritual self-care, she is trained in regression therapy, which is a form of hypnosis to access past life and between lives experiences to improve and heal current life issues. She is also trained in Reiki, which is a form of energy healing originating in Japan.
Education:
Rebecca earned her Bachelor’s degree from Fort Lewis College in 2005 and her Masters of Social Work from California State University in May of 2002.
